Hey, thanks for advice!
And, my favourite place for now – El paso near Old street; they closing at 1 / 2 am (!); you can get tasty and cheap enough pepermint tea or salad; and, just around a corner it is a lot of clubs with live music, if you will feel fancy for a break;)

Store Street Espresso – great people, best coffee you can find, reasonably priced and a great atmosphere. Perfect for studying aswell

You are a rock star. Even a skilled google search for internet cafes with plugs comes up virtually empty handed. That is until after too long surfing around you appear. You made my day as I’m trying to finish a commissioned script to deadline and I have cabin fever but no extended battery life. Total life saver = screen credit for Mr. Gary. Thanks a bunch.

Hey I found your blog searching for good cafes where i could go and work with my laptop! I’ve just moved to London and i was looking for something exactly like you describe – where i live there’s only KFC… the BFI sounds just the right place! I’ll check it out tomorrow! thanks

I will have to try – I’m going to extend this post once I have found those special places, but at the moment the BFI cafe is still my favorite place. Ever been there?

Bermondsey Street Coffee on Bermondsey Street is pretty awesome too. Power sockets next to tables, great music and eclectic paraphenalia. You have to get username/password that only lasts for an hour, which kinda sux. But apart from that it’s great!
